The Minnesota Black Nurses Association is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit dedicated to improving the health and living conditions of those experiencing health disparities, all along the public health spectrum, both in the community and internationally.   We also want to work collaboratively with like minded individuals and groups to achieve these desired goals.   We pledge to be here when you need us, to listen, to offer solutions, and to be a resource for you.

Please join us at our Fourth Annual Scholarship Fundraiser Gala on Saturday, November 12th, 2016, at the Center for Changing Lives 2400 Park Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota at 6:30pm.  The Gala is a special event dedicated to fundraising for scholarships for the next generation of nurses.   It is our mission to help student nurses succeed and keep nurses connected to the community as we tackle every day disparities in the Twin Cities area.   It is our belief that having more nurses interact with the community will improve the health of the larger community and thereby decrease the health disparities.  At the Gala, MNBNA will also be sharing and celebrating the outstanding work the organization achieved during 2015.

Your support is vital, as this event is our main source for fundraising. Please see attached sponsorship and program advertisement opportunities that are available for your organization. Complete the enclosed form with your choice of sponsorship and/or program advertisement.

We anticipate 300 guests will celebrate this amazing event. If you would like to donate raffle items such as gift cards, gift baskets or certificate for an opportunity to receive signage and recognition at the Gala and in the Gala program, please contact any gala committee member listed below.

Wenso Ashby will perform soulful jazz during the evening, while The Center for Changing Lives Catering Staff will prepare appetizers during the cocktail hour and serve a delicious dinner during the Gala.
