Job Description: 

 

We are seeking a permanent, full-time Disease Prevention & Control Division Director to lead and provide management oversight to the agency’s Infectious, Disease Epidemiology, Prevention and Control (IDEPC) division. This position will serve as a key part of the statewide public health system to protect, maintain, and improve the health of all Minnesota's citizens and visitors. 

 

Minimum Qualifications: Four years of professional level experience in Epidemiology, Microbiology, Public Health, Public Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Policy, or a closely related public health field (i.e. Nursing, Medicine, Environmental Health, etc.). Two or more years additional years of managerial level (or higher) experience that includes directing one or more major health program areas, supervising professional level staff.
